Just don't care
I hid light curb rash on raptor wheels with plastidip. It's quite thick if you do enough coatsPlastidip is like paint, it will change the color of the scratch, but it won't fill it in or anything.

yes, close together given the numbers produced. And I did R dazzle mine. its how it should have been from the factory. There's 190 R's between our numbers. Btw I did NOT R-dazzle my R. I was being micro-sarcastic to those that did.
Can someone explain to me what this means?yes, close together given the numbers produced. And I did R dazzle mine. its how it should have been from the factory.
Yep. Not trying to fill in any holes/deep scratches. It will help with minor scrapes though. The wheels are mostly in great shape. Mostly I just want to change up the look a bit.Plastidip is like paint, it will change the color of the scratch, but it won't fill it in or anything.
what exactly do you not understand? Can someone explain to me what this means?
It will work great for that. Plastidip has a little more buildup than traditional paint but not a ton.Yep. Not trying to fill in any holes/deep scratches. It will help with minor scrapes though. The wheels are mostly in great shape. Mostly I just want to change up the look a bit.
One of the best looking cars out there for sure.I added a side stripe to mine, felt it needed it. Really happy with the results. Oh, and I added some knockoff R style wheels. Not everyone can afford the real deal. Happy with the look.
That looks really nice ! What side stripe did you get? I've been thinking about putting some on mine (Oxford white with the Kona blue stripe), but haven't quite seen any online I'm comfortable enough ordering.I added a side stripe to mine, felt it needed it. The best way to use Plasti dip is to paint the entire wheel face rather than touching up. You apply multiple layers, usually about four, so it does build up some thickness. Assuming your Vette wheels are black you'll never notice the rash. As soon as the weather warms up I'm going to dip my 65 GTO wheels.Excellent choice. I like the Bronze but I think either will look great. Like you said, you can always change it for a minimal investment. Slightly off topic, I'm wondering if this would, as a bonus, cover up minor curb rash. The original owner of my 'vette apparently had zero ability to park.

I'm sorry. I didn't know everyone was supposed to know what "Rdazzle" means. Apologies if I offended you. Hope you're ok.what exactly do you not understand?
Thanks. That's the plan. That site has great instructional videos. My current wheels are a dark gray. Probably going to go a bit darker with a graphite metallic color.
