I'm interested in this idea, could you clarify a bit more on this? Such as what material did you use, how did you get it to remain affixed? (Glue, Tape etc). How did the affect balancing of the tire, and if you have tested this how much noise reduction has this achieved compared to none applied.

I believe he is saying the stock tires have the sound deadening. You can see it in the pictures, it looks like foam and is probably glued in place.

I have heard these tires are GT500 specific, so ordering them through Ford should get you the exact same tire. Supposedly lol.

Do a google search. A few tire companies offer this option. I saw some tests when searching that shows it doesn’t make much difference

Actually I did, and noticed Continental offers tires with the tech, but I figured I'd ask and see.

Will be a interesting read/watch then. I went to my dealer on Saturday, to get some maintenance done for Betty, and was told they have a Shelby in the lobby ! W00t ! I can finally see it up close. Well....it was not a Gt500, but it was a new Super Snake Shelby, complete with the new chrome whipple and a 123k price tag...My guys were like you ready for it ? Um.....I will be ready when I can snag a GT500 from you guys at MSRP. Lol. I will admit, they are starting to get a lot of specialty cars and trucks now. With the Harley Davidson trucks, and they had a Shelby truck as well. Now that was very nice indeed.

Great time for car/truck guys/gals for sure. Looking forward to reading and seeing more info.

I've never known him to play games. Pretty straight forward guy if you ask me. I would have played it a little different though.... spit out the number and direct those to the YouTube video for the poop behind it all. Maybe some of the kid rubbed off on him.
