Over msrp for GT500’s?

So I was recently messing around on autotrader and it seems there’s already a few listings for the 2020 GT500. I originally had my search set to within 300 miles and saw a local dealer is asking 113000 but the msrp on autotrader says 98000. Then I expanded the radius to all over the United States and the highest price I saw was close to 170000. Looks like dealers are going to start overcharging for these cars just like the gt500. Fortunately I did see a few at reasonable prices close to 80000. I would have to see the msrp on them to be sure but it seems close to msrp.

Asking price doesn't equal transaction price. There will be plenty of MSRP deals once a lot more are delivered to dealers.

For sure a lot will go for msrp it just seems ridiculous though for a dealer to be asking for 170000
