As I mentioned earlier in this thread, yellow is a complicated color. And with regard to the current discussion about hues, even a small adjustment in the white balance can dramatically change the "yellow." There are dozens of "Pantone" yellows and that is the outfit that "registers" and guarantees color correctness to industry from paint to fabric to you name it.
Granted, the same is true of many primary and secondary colors but visible light just seems to affect yellow differently somehow. It's a pickle.
