I know the adaptive dampers are tuned a little differently because of the CF wheels, but are any hard components themselves different?

I'm asking because I really can't justify the CFTP price, as I don't care about the CF wheels (and really, I don't want to risk curbing them or something).the CF dash bits, etc

I can option the car with Recaros, and handling pack, buy adjustable strut top mounts/camber plates (probably at a dealer), and the tires, and save myself like $13k

I can live with a GT500 at $80k or so... but much more than that and I'll be looking into buying a C8 or a 911 for my track toy

I like to disassemble things.
Spring rates and rear bar are different.

springs I'd assume are because of the lightweight wheels, but maybe not.
That said, swapping springs could easily be done (like when you put on the new adjustable strut hats), and same for a sway bar

Springs were done to attain the frequency they wanted for the different tire/wheel, and rear aero.

I figured something like that. Honestly, probably just upgrade the tires and maybe the bar after some laps and see how it feels.

You'll probably love it as is. Unless you are hardcore pushing for every possible second on the road course...

I personally wouldn't even change tires, but I'm cheap and I just go to the road course to have fun - not to try to set records. Spend the money on PPF and more track days rather than having to change tires so frequently.

2 cents.

I tracked my SS 1LE a good bit and do care about it. Tires matter to me for sure. That said, I would use the OEM PS4s as street tires and buy a set of Cup 2s (or other R-Comps) for trackings and just see how the car behaves, then go from there regarding the sway bar and such.
