Took the Shelby to pick up a few items at a near-by Publix Supermarket. I parked all the way in the back, and as I got towards the front of the parking lot, I realize why Ford is dropping several of their sedans and concentrating on SUV's and pick-ups.... Sheeeesch!!!!!!!!

Yep, I see the same thing in the DC metro area. Many people just no longer have much of a connection with their modes of transportation. They want big, roomy, and could not care less about how it handles or performs. Just as long as it gets them from A to B. Thus the plethora of big, ugly SUV's. There are some exceptions, but not many.

Put it up on Flatstoppers.
Just bought the same ones (flatstoppers) Les. Pretty expensive for foam ;-)
I hope I don't regret putting the car away this coming Saturday in my friends heated garage (today/tonight is too busy and I am spent). I hope Saturday is warmer than predicted.

Got the alignment tweaked on Monday - no charge given it was the handling pkg and they weren't sure if it stayed in spec until measured (I thought the passenger's side had had more neg camber but it was only by -0.02 so barely different. Toe-in however needed a tweak so I'm glad to get that done).

Otherwise got a few little projects done (catch can, new blue filter, floor mats, detailed exteriro & engine bay). I wish I had time to get the jacking rails & BMR cross member installed.....plus I wanted to letter that chin spoiler.....chores for a winter garage visit or spring.

I’m done for the season. Thermostat is set at 55 degrees for now. Both cars are clean, but will give them a quick detail.
Really depressing with it getting dark so early. Still have a few cars on a list to detail in the next couple of weeks. At least
That will keep me busy.

Watching all you guys put your cars away for hibernation for months on end is depressing me. Watching YouTube videos all winter only goes so far.

It truly sucks. I have 2 weeks down and 20 more to go.

I am hoping to drive mine without the AC. Maybe this weekend or next week, according to the weather forecasts. I might even attempt to clean the inside rear windows without sweating all over the interior.

Yeah, but it’s going to last twice as long.
Doubtful, especially with this engine. However, I will admit I got 27K miles on mine. 20K which aren't mine and 7K which have been driven like LeMans any chance I could get it. I'm pretty impressed that I've not had a single drop of oil. However, the car has had 3 engine replacements prior to my ownership. eh, whatever. - it's a car and a hobby... let's not forget a depreciating asset.

I said it in jest.

Washed, waxed and put into hibernation. Just in time for the snow in NH. Full day's worth of work prepping for it's 6 month nap.

What tent is that? Is that going to withstand snow in the winter ? I am keeping mine in a tent around summer, but park it away in a garage in winter, I am scared of it collapsing on the car if I am not at home to keep shaking the snow off the tent...
Thanks
