Another one going into storage. We had another 6 inches of snow this week. Need to go back to clean it and pull the battery still.

Pampering my car all the down to the tires! Will be watching the temperature through the winter.
My garage and cars are spotless but my house could use some cleaning! The cars are put up
for the winter. I can start cleaning the clutter in my house. Naaaah! I think I clean my mufflers!

I’ve been looking at the Flatstoppers. How do you like them and any issues? Is that the 14” version? Thanks for any info

Yes they are 14”. The only issue I had was driving the car up on the ramps with race deck flooring. The flooring is slippery. (I cleaned the floor with waterless car wash. Makes the floor look new, nice sheen but, slippery, easy to clean up any spill) I put the ramps Up against each tire and went as slow as possible riding the clutch and the rear tires (being so sticky) grabbed the ramps and forced (slid) the ramps under the rear tires before the front tires got up on the front ramps. So! I put the ramps in front of the front tires only, drove the car up slowly with no problem. Jacked the back of the car up and slid the ramps under the rear tires. I think there would be no problem on a concrete floor. The car has been on the ramps for 3 days, will judge about flat spots in a few months.

What tent is that? Is that going to withstand snow in the winter ? I am keeping mine in a tent around summer, but park it away in a garage in winter, I am scared of it collapsing on the car if I am not at home to keep shaking the snow off the tent...
Thanks
this will.be the 2nd winter with this tent. It's a shelter logic from tractor supply. I added additional ribs for reinforcement. It's lag bolted to the driveway in 8 spots with ratchet tie downs. I also knock the snow off right away. The shelter is also protected from the wind o n 2 shades based on the retaining wall and proximity to the house

Thanks; what kind of reinforcement ribs are those, are they plastic, where did you get them from? looks like a good idea, I could do the same on my tent ... Did you also insert some plastic sheets so it does apply more uniform pressure on the tent ?

I used Pex pipe from home depot for the ribs (Zip Tied in place), basically added 4 more sections. Then used plastic electrical conduit pipe length wise. Then I used 18x24 plastic lawn signs to help eliminate sagging on the roof. It's not perfect but for the cost, it worked well last winter. I think I paid $130 for the tent due to an online promotion. The 12" Lag bolts into the driveway with ratchet straps are important. This thing has seen some serious wind.

Stored it Monday. Had 3 nice days after I’d did it but didn’t feel like cleaning it again. Roads got salted this week so good thing I got it done.

One more into storage for winter
Prepped my car and my wife’s SLK by washing them, removed the batteries, pumped up the tires and place 2” rigid insulation under the GT350 tires. Hope it helps with flat spots.
