GT350R TPMS sensors

Hi,

For those who bought a set of spare wheels for the R, where did you get your tmps sensors from? I am reading contradictory information, that R and regular GT350 are similar, and that they are not on other sites (like LMR).
I see Rockauto.com is selling 2 types , 433mhz and 315mhz.. which one is for the R if you know.

call your local ford dealer, give them your VIN, and they will tell you exactly which ones you need. Mine took the TPMS 39 sensors.

Found Tire Rack has the best deal on new sensors. $32 per TPMS39, but not sure about the 433mhz version.

As far as I can tell, Ford switched from 315mHz to 433mHz and which one you have depends on when your car was built. The R and non-R cars will be the same, but they're not the same as most other Mustangs because the GT350's have metal valve stems.

As @lightrules said, your dealer parts dept can tell you which part works based on your VIN.
