I thinking about purchasing a GT350. There are 2019a locally but I might order a 2020 for spring build.
Is there any difference between the 2019 and 2020 model?
Thanks

My understanding is that the GT350 refresh occured in 2019; The "R" model is supposedly going to be updated/refreshed in 2020.
If you are looking for an R, there may be a difference, otherwise no difference with regular GT350 base model.
Rumors have it that the 2020 may be the last model year for the 350, but that has been said before...

Just my $0.02...
  • Do you want a base or an R?
  • If base, there is essentially no difference between the 2019 and the 2020
  • There are, however, AMAZING deals to be had on the 2019's! (You can find 2019 GT350 base models for under invoice all over the country)
  • If R, there is a $5K increase between the 2019 and the 2020
  • 2020 GT350 production is limited to 2800 units - 30% of those will be R's - so it's going to be a lot harder to find a deal
YMMV...

Good information, I'm fine with a base model. We track our base model 2017 and it's good enough for me.
Thanks.

Some very good, accurate info. here from OP. Yes, some good deals to be found on '19 if you can find what you what. Soon nearing end of '19 model year( 2020 GT350s started production this week).
So...a '19 should rightly be discounted.
IF you find what you desire, get thousands off window sticker, and shipping not across country which will factor into savings up front, then why not ??
However if you must have exactly a certain color/option combo and can wait till spring why 'settle' ? Cosmetically & mechanically both '19 & '20 are identical except for new color options and ALL pinstripes will be " Light Magnetic".
Good Luck!

I didn't need to think about it. I bought a new 2019 which was ordered 6 months before the car was delivered to me.

I say buy the 2019 or order the 2020 for a delivery next summer. It is how it works. I ordered mine.

The car is the best Mustang ever made.

The sound of the engine at half-throttle to full-throttle is spectacular. What are you waiting for?

The car drinks 93 octane fuel. They will also hit you with a $1300 gas guzzler tax when you buy it. It's all worth the price for a real performance car enthusiast.

That seems well below dealer cost to me. I'd buy it quickly as long as they don't add extra charges at the closing of the deal.
They're losing money on that car! Probably don't want to look at it all winter!
almost $7k off a new 2019 GT350 (white with blue stripes)
Yeah, that's about $7K less than what I spent! :frown::crying::facepalm:

There is no way that you can get $7K off a $60K GT350 at any time.

I drive mine all year. I live in the deep south so there is no storage or discount in the winter months.

That price on the white one is only available if you finance through them, otherwise it's higher. They will get their money back in the financing.

Sure.....go ahead and finance then pay her off quickly. Make certain no early payoff penalty.

The OP already owns and tracks a GT350. Telling him it sounds great, uses 93 octane and that he will have to pay a guzzler tax along with it’s all worth it is a little silly don’t you think?
He is buying a second one.
