I looked at their other models, none of the doors or hood opens, it's probably resin. Resin for the most part doesnt have doors or a hood that opens.
I used to buy high end ones like exoto, autoart and spark models (resin). Havent heard of acme diecast.

Man, too bad it's only 1 color. If the going price is $150, it will be top quality.

They have one listed in their GT series as well. $139. Not sure what the differences are. The site is low on details.

Theres a small price difference, only thing I could think of is either resin (doors dont open) or its diecast. Now all the model sites always talk about resin being higher quality, maybe the exterior material is? but having owned an exoto, that level of quality is insane. And their model cars are diecast, all doors hoods and rear hood/trunk opening. Wheels spin along with the brake rotors. The center lock wheel looked like you can unscrew it and remove the wheel like a real center lock! I remember there was also a spinning axle shaft left and right!! I dont remember if pressing the brakes actually stopped the wheels from spinning, that was the level of detail I'm talking about. Engine bay has small wires that looked like hoses and even header pipes to simulate what the engine looked like. I owned a sauber c9, back then they were around $399. That was almost 10 years ago.

These gt500 pieces will go up in value if built in small amounts usually under 750. And again, depends on the brand, some are higher end than the others.

I previously purchased some AutoArt models of other cars. They are very nice. I would watch them to see if they make a 2020 GT500 model as well.

I have the GT Spirt BULLITT none of the doors or open, but its very well made and has a lot of detail on the interior panels.
The Bullitt’s are currently selling for $250 on eBay. Buy your GT500 now on eBay for $149.
