Maisto 1:18 GT500 at Costco $15!

If you have a Sam's Club in your area, it might be worth a look also. They often have an assortment of Maisto models now and then.

On a whim after seeing this thread, I ran there over lunch and scored the orange GT500 for $15.

MY local Costco had the blue GT500, but the Ford GT and green 500 were no wherre to be found. There was a ton of Ferrari FXXs, Bugatti Chirons (which I did pick up one) as well as Lambos, Jeeps and what appeared to be new Vettes. The way their cases are arrainged I'll check back wiht them, because they've got about half that are not accessable. Hard to beat for $15.

Geez, all I need is to get hooked on collecting these, lol. I used to buy model trains and still have a bunch on display and in storage. I may tinker with those at retirement.

Sorry, although their technical sophistication and performance cannot be denied, I've never found the Bugs to be all that attractive.....

Was at Costco this evening and stumbled upon their stack of Maisto 1:18 die casts.

lots of cool cars.

I grabbed 3 GT500s in all the colors I could find:
Twister Orange with stripes
Grabber Green black roof
Metallic Blue with white stripes

Also picked up a heritage edition ‘19 Ford GT while I was at it.

I never found the EB110 or the Veyron to be the most attractive cars on the planet, but I do like the looks of the Chiron.

I picked up the Twister Orange. Only one I could find at the store I went to. Three other stores in my radius. Might stop in at the Ann Arbor store today when I stop for gas on the way to the dragstrip. As you can see, it’s in good company.

Stopped by local store again last night. About 1/3 of what they had was gone and I could get to more of their stock. Picked up an orange Ford GT, but they only had one blue GT500 left. Never saw an orange or a green GT500, not a Gulf Ford GT.

I went today....snagged a blue GT500 w/white stripes, an orange w/black stripes & a green w/no stripes just blacked out roof. $15 is a steal for 1:18 scale
