Mint Models 2020 GT 500

Got a surprise package today from an outfit called, "Mint Models." I'd seen die-cast stuff before but I don't believe I'd seen this site. Maybe someone has already mentioned them and I've completely forgotten. 50/50 is my guess. :-)

Anyway, machine-screwed to the bottom piece of Styrofoam was this:

Checked the PO and turns out, it was from a close business friend. The detail is amazing. I should have snagged a shot of the underside as it's equally detailed. Very cool gift.

Same scheme as my previous but identical to @RapidResponder's and a few others. :-)

We're smiling and no, Jaime, spent the day detailing her, no time for vinyl cutting but it WAS the first thing I thought about.

Tom, I honestly don't know since it was a gift and I didn't dig deeply at the site.

They are auto art. Same models as the ones you scrutinized the other day (guitar, coasters, RAF Club).

Very good quality and detail at that price point. If they made a rapid red with black stripes, I would certainly buy one.

I wonder if I could wrap this one? Hmm...might see if there's a small roll in the right color (or close)...but then, the stripes...damn..nope, that won't work, end of thought discussion. :-)

About all I can do is correct the color in a photo, oh well...maybe they'll add all the colors, seems like that wouldn't be too difficult. Then again, having extra inventory is usually not a good thing for binness.

I know the feeling. Im missing an avalanche grey R model in my collection. I thought about painting, but that is way to much detail.

Painting a roof black, no problem. The whole car with stripes, etc is way too much.

Definitely WAY too much, Tom, couldn't agree more. But MAYBE pseudo rapid red for the main wrap and black wrap pre-cut for the stripes...hmmm.

I've never done any "wrapping" per se but I've seen it done multiple times and it looks WAY easier than film.
