Over the last 5 years Ford has brought out many models, packages and trim levels to the s550. What do you think will be next for the s550?
As much as I love the Internal Combustion V8 and just ordered a GT500 base model, I feel like that is Ford’s last hurrah for the ICE. It saddens me, but unfortunately that is the way of the world. Hybrids and electric “muscle cars” are an oxymoron. Enjoy what you have and your fellow Mustang enthusiasts in the meantime.

The sky's not falling (yet) fellas. I'm sure there's life left in the Coyote yet and I'm sure it'll see service in S650. Whether it (or another V8) is around for S750 is another matter.

I suspect a stock EcoBoost with a manual is already a better car than that SVO ever dreamed of being. An SVO EcoBoost package would be a amazingly easy thing for Ford to offer, I'm surprised they haven't already.

Expect a Boss 302 to replace the GT350's void when production ends.

Did I miss something? Has Ford announced that GT350 production will be ending?

Perhaps the V8 Gods will grace us with 1 more engine for our beloved Mustangs.

It's a little odd (to me) that this rumor is floating around again. There was strong rumors of this 4.8 a couple of years back but, allegedly, it was canned when Ford managed to hit their MPG/emissions targets with the Gen 3 Coyote.

I guess its possible they've started up development again. I guess only time will tell but I'd have thought there's still life left for the 5.0
