I didn't have the choice to have my GT built I saw it on the lot while looking for a new truck and ...well the rest is history. But I had sync 3 with touch screen on my 2017 F150 and I want it in my GT. I've seen a video by 4DTech.com and it looks easy enough to do, the unit cost about $1900. I'm thinking of contacting dealer and see if they will do the upgrade but thought I'd check and see if anyone here has done said deed.

That's a great thread thanks so much. I had looked back through the threads but didn't see anything guess I should have went back further. Again thank very much.

I was also very keen to do this conversion, and the sponsor in that thread has put a great package together, but the cost was too high for me - not saying his prices are too high, just can't see myself spending $2000+ on a car we paid $15K and its my wife's town run-around.

Same deal here ... wanted to do it, but there is no way I would pay $2000USD+ for the kit. If you can piece everything together using CoPart or a local auto wrecker with the info in that thread, all the power to you - will likely come in under the price of the kit by quite a bit. However, with that being said... there are way better aftermarket options out there for a lot less (both in money and headaches) if you are just looking for navigation and whatnot.
