I think one of the things that didn't help was Ford gave me one or maybe two free oil changes, not the dealer. I've only used one but I'm pretty sure I have another setting there to be used. But with the dealer it was/is like as soon as I drove off the lot it was like don't come back unless...
Really I get it. I expected too much. It won't happen again. I do my own washing of the GT I did the same with the F150 and everyother vehicle I had before. I use to do my own oil changes but stopped when we went fulltiming living on the road in a 40 foot motor home. Since 2016 I've settled here...
Yeah I even had them do all my serice and oil changes on the F150 (which I did pay for all of them) then even had my daughter and Son-in-law go there to buy their truck.
And Dealers in small towns use to sweep out your car and wash them before returning them to you where I came from. But I...
Okay so my one year of ownership comes to a close April 30, I've got less than 10k miles on the car. The car has performed flawlessly but nearing the one year mark I thought I’d see about taking the car in and have them check it out and make sure everything was work properly and check the...
Okay then didn't know the octane rating was so much higher that explains very much. Not worth voiding the warranty to me but in a couple of years who knows. Much thanks everyone. I'm pretty happy with the humpf it's got now.
Okay I'm clueless. I only use 93 octane fuel and thought I was feeding this beast just what it wanted but I've been reading and keep finding people recommending doing an E-85 convert. Why does this help performance over using 93 octane? And what all would have to be done, i.e. tune, injectors...
That's a great thread thanks so much. I had looked back through the threads but didn't see anything guess I should have went back further. Again thank very much.
I didn't have the choice to have my GT built I saw it on the lot while looking for a new truck and ...well the rest is history. But I had sync 3 with touch screen on my 2017 F150 and I want it in my GT. I've seen a video by 4DTech.com and it looks easy enough to do, the unit cost about $1900...
In my 2017 F150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost and the A10 I never need to down shift six gears to pass anyone. Either in drive or sport. It diffidently had more get up and gone in sport but still had a lot of punch even in drive. Not sure what power plant you had but my guess is it wasn't the 3.5 Eco.
I'm 69 and I peronally love the black pp1 wheels on my GT I'm also getting the 5.0, the GT and the pony in black and finally getting rid of all the cheap looking chrome.
