I'm really confused now.

Bikeman315 has the 401A package, which shows Drage Mode engaged with a little light tree displayed in the dash. How does it work without the 401A package? Is there something else that displays the light tree?

ETA;

I think what I read, was that to do the sub 4 second 0-60, you had to have drag mode and Magneride. NOT that to get Drag Mode you had to have Magneride.
In "drag mode" if you have magneride, it will adjust the stance front to back, to allow better out of the whole weight transfer.

I was just out playing with Drag Strip mode and found it seems to work better if you turn the traction control off before you hit it.

Here you would get $3-4K off that. I got a Roush ($12k package) on top of 48k Msrp, so $60k total for $50k. This isn’t a high demand truck or suv... I’d offer $44-45k plus whatever tax is. Below is an example of discounts they’re capable of. I’m not a ford employee and I got all the discounts shown in the ad shown in the link. Also look at new 2018’s. They’re out there still.

Even more fun if you also hold the brake (manual launch control) to about 2k rpms and punch it while releasing the brake.

I forgot to check the RPM when it shifted, too busy holding on.

What I’m talk8ng about is at a complete stop holding the brake, revving to about 2000 rpms while holding the brake, then punch the gas awhile quickly letting go of the brake. It’s basically manual launch control. Unless you have sticky tires you’ll get some spin.

My msrp is $46,125. I paid $38,988 plus ttl, just over $42,000. Mn tax i believe is 6.75% on cars? Plus about 400 for tags and a few$$ for title transfer at dmv.
I figured that was a pretty good deal, with only the nav and block heater as options i didn't want.
Total discount was $7,137.

wouldn't the 20" rims raise the ratio on 3:15 geared car? and the wider rubber make it close to a PP1 ?
No you need smaller outer ratio...I put pp2 305/30/19 on my base 3.15, should give me an actual 3.28 over all gear ratio.

To add to the confusion:

I have a 19 10A Base GT - 300a(?) package. So no toggles, magnaride, or drive modes. I added a 4" to 8" SYNC 3 conversion, which requires a new center face-plate with an "8 opening for the screen and adds lower toggles.

Once you install the SYNC etc., and go in on FORSCAN, you can activate the toggle and all the modes. So when I toggle to track: steering goes sport, exhaust goes track (I have active exh), traction light warning thing goes on, track use only warning pops, and, most importantly, the transmission snaps shifts!

This was a "byproduct" of the Sync conversion, and I am super happy. I drive in S+ all the time.
So does it have drag mode, sport+ and wet/ snow modes?

So for drag racing, a plain GT a10 would be fastest then, based on rear gear selection, as i understand it? I assume then that even a base GT A10 would still have drag mode, even without pp? I really like this new Gt, base with a10 and pp1. Lots of fun, and at 69 yo i enjoy the extra handling as much as i did the max acceleration years ago. These Michelin s4 tires bite like nobodys business! Best street tire i have ever owned.
I bought my GT off a dealers lot, got 7100 off msrp so that seemed too good to pass up in my area. Wasn't really ready to buy a GT, but the wife loved it, so that made the deal
A base car 300a does not have Drag mode it needs to be a 301A Pkg car and 3:55 gear would need to be ordered if no Perf pkg was ordered
