Problem with Steeda dual rate springs.

How are we on this noise? Were you able to find the culprit?

No not yet. I've not got time to look at it yet. I will try this weekend.

What kind of grease do you use for the Steeda adjustable end links?

I had the same issue, resolved by reorienting the spring because the bottom end wasn't perfectly in the right place on the r/s strut mount.

Yeah I'm gonna take them off this weekend and try resitting those springs. Thanks.

We use a synthetic HD Amsoil grease.

The verdict is in! The springs are 100% the culprit.

I took the suspension apart to try and resit those springs. Spent time to double check everything, made sure everything was tight, torqued to specs, even torqued the center nuts to 78ft lb as some Steeda techs suggested. The noise was still there.

I kept thinking there couldn't be anything else that causing the noise. So I wrapped the springs with electrical tape and guess what. The noise is gone. But now I can hear the rear.

@SteedaTech who do I contact so I can get the isolators that were supposed to come with the front and rear springs? Thanks.
