Got mine in around 11 this morning. The dealer said he had to put order in the "old" way. He gave me a vehicle order confirmation.Get those orders in as the banks just opened.
Does that mean dealer profit on a $81000 vehicle is roughly $3K? Seems lowConfirmation...
Depends on how many cars you own, and other hobbies. My wife and I enjoy travel, and have kids in sports. As such, my lightning has less than 1,000 miles a year on average on it. My 68, maybe 1000 in 5 years total. I just don't have the time.I was shopping 2014 Z51 'vettes and looked at one with 2,200 miles on it. That was what the dealer told me the previous owner did with it. ~5 years of ownership and 2,200 miles! It's hard for me to understand why people do that.
I think that's exactly how I'd order mine except maybe i would have skipped the CF IP. I you ever want to sell... lol.Confirmation...
They did this for the gt500 before the gt350. When I got a 13 GT, there was a 13 gt500 sitting in the showroom. MSRP was something like 64k, with adm it was 86k.Let's be honest, GT350/GT500 enthusiasts aren't looking for a parade car. No disrespect but the market for each is completely different. Witness the continued application of ADM's (in many places across the country, still) for the GT350. That said, you can expect to see dealers holding the GT500 hostage just like they did with the GT350 for damn near 5 years.
What excuse will you have when adm is 20k+?But what excuses are the msrp or bust crowd going to use, if adms aren't 20k+?
According to them, they were shopping for Huracans and then stumbled upon gt500 info, so they can easily afford it, but wont pay $1. Over msrp "whatever it may be"
Gt350, given details pre price, according to this forum was $80k+ came out to 49k, had 20-30k adms, and was generally agreed to be worth ~80k
Gt500, costs $80k, is generally agreed to be worth ~80k.
All Ford did was shift the margins in their favor, if its true high ADMs aren't sustained..
So I now look forward to the same people now switching their tune to a GT+ blower is a better bargain.. when 2 days ago they would buy it at msrp, whatever it may be lol
Its not what they charge, its what they can sell them for..What excuse will you have when adm is 20k+?
You musta forgot, there were gt350Rs selling for over 100k. Rich gotta have it ppl ate it up.
I lol at the people talking about better bargain. If they really wanted fast they would get something with two wheels.
I would have to agree with this. The dealer I do business with has already sold their 1 allocation for a 150k. The sales manager told me himself. People with money will slap it down because they can. I waited 2 years on My Gt350 and bought it 2k under MSRP, from a dealer that had a 20k ADM on it....How you ask ???Its not what they charge, its what they can sell them for..
Fast in a straight line at acceleration - very true. Turning or stopping, probably not.If they really wanted fast they would get something with two wheels.
