Yep $10K for painted stripes. Better be a hell of a paint job when the that car is delivered. I think they charge $20K for PTS for FGTs.

The other thing is no custom options for that $10K
You are doing painted stripes?

The $10,000 for painted stripes is way too high! Without them, it's still a $96K proposition, plus sales tax and registration.
25 K more than an R before ADM. Just nutts. Heckuva car, but what are the actual differences between this an R.
Supercharger- Really the only additional part.
Cross plane crank probably cost the same as FPC.
DCT: how much more than the manual?
Splitter wickers sure cant be 25 k.
The front splitter and gurney flap should be essentially in line cost wise.

I'm just not seeing the justification of this being 25k more than and R.

Here's the price list (MSRP/Invoice) for the 2020 Shelby GT500 and GT350 including options/accessories.

Everyone said that the GT350R MSRP was a lot for a Mustang, too. We've heard it before. It seems to have done just fine.

Was thinking about it if I could go outside the three standard choices. White, blue, black.
That's a lot of money for stripes. Wow.

Check all the boxes, throw in an ADM, and we are in ZR1 land.

Top it all off, and we still don't know what this thing weighs
Exactly. The weight is going to be the killer, and that's why Ford has stayed so quiet on it... just like they've stayed quiet on ANY performance benchmarks. At least with the GT350, we knew pretty early on that they benchmarked the previous gen Z/28

I don't think that is a fair statement. The performance potential of this car would certainly be competing with more than the 1LE. We need additional information
We do, but with the information released already, I just don't think it's there... less tire and more weight is never a winning formula, regardless of how much power the car has

I will be pleasantly surprised if it's faster than a ZL1 1LE. That thing is a beast and I watch that Nurburgring video at least twice a week. I'll not holding my breath for the rest of the cars you mentioned, but I could be wrong. That track pack better be amazing for 18500.
Same here. It'll be nice if it's faster than the 1LE, but I'm not holding my breath... I'm fairly confident that if the car IS any faster, it'll be fractions of a second for the CF track pack. There's absolutely no way in hell the base package will be faster than, or really ANYWHERE near as fast as a 1LE. Honestly, I'd be surprised if the base GT500 was all that much faster around a track than the GT350R

6J7 Carbon Track Pack CHECK
47W Painted Stripes CHECK
P8S GT500 Fastback Crap.... Cant afford the actual car after selecting only 2 options....:crying:

Hahaha, dude, that is f***ing hysterical :D

CFTP + stripes is more costly than an entry level Ecoboost ...

I’m in-between cars
Yeah ok buddy lol it's built on a $25,000 rental car platform. At $100,000, the game is different than at $60,000.
I never understood the rental car flap. You can rent anything at rental car agency: Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini so literally everything classifies as a rental car—even supercharged Shelby Mustangs, so I don’t understand.

And the GT350 and GT500 are bespoke cars, the only parts they share is the body.

It was obvious that the price of the carbon package would be up in the 90-100k range, especially when you throw in ADM—you’re talking 120-140k, some dealers will be asking.

If the GT500 on the track can compete with the Porsche GT2RS, then I say it’s worth that price point being that the other runs for 400-500k.

I still love my R and this confirms in every way that it will be an absolute long term keeper.

In terms of price/bang for the buck, if someone is looking for an all-out screamer to compete with the hellcat redeye, I'd honestly rather have the non-carbon optioned GT500 over the Dodge though. :)

The GT500 I would order (if I had an allocation) would be $77,995 MSRP all in.

Not a bad price for a special production car with that kind of prestige and performance.

Technology Package
Vinyl stripes

Those are the only options I would want, and even the technology Package is kind of a waste at $3,000. (I have the Tech package in my 2019 GT350 and I haven’t once used the navigation or the sound system.)

Ford doesn’t release numbers because they want journalist to figure it out. That’s their policy. I don’t think they are hiding any performance numbers. It’s just they want auto journalist to get in the car and test it themselves.

Just finished building a GT500 just the way that I want and it came to $101,075.

That price did not include the $10,000 for painted OTT stripes which would obviously put this car at ~$111,000 plus tag, license, administration fees and taxes.

I would suggest that not only will this type of MSRP pricing quite possibly elevate the present value for anyone presently owning an R model but also suggest that the value of the 662 HP GT500's from 2013 and 2014 may have just got a boost in current value as well.

I also built a 2020 GT350R just the way that I want and it came to $78,120 plus tag, license, admin fees and taxes.

The above prices sure make me smile based on being able to purchase my 2018 Base R for ~$65,000.

With ADM's coming into play this is going to be interesting to watch over the next few months or so.

:)
