GT500 I guess is a bargain vs a Shelby Super Snake

Didn't the $500K 600+hp SLR McLaren have an oddball setup of a torqueconverter mated to a 5 speed electronically shifted manual? 5-GTronic I believe? That's what you get for crippling a great car, with that garbage torque converter. A torque converter has no place in a performance car.
The Seventh Generation Corvette was he a huge disappointment, and a disgrace her GM
In relation to what the car will compete against, that is affordable performance.I'm torn, looks like a great car (depending what the weight really is) but Mustang's used to be about affordable performance. 100K + they way I'd want it is too much for me to drop on a weekend toy.
And as pointed out, chances are about nil this will come with the the fit and finish of other 100K automobiles.
+$2400 for destination and GG.70,300 base for the illiterate!
70,300 base for the illiterate!
The Mustang should've been a $50K car, but it has had to be de-contented and cheapened with bargain interior materials, quality, fit and finish to meet a price point. Still love, love, love my base car, scratchy plastic, low rent cloth, rattles, panel gaps and all!Yeah ok buddy lol it's built on a $25,000 rental car platform. At $100,000, the game is different than at $60,000.
Actually its $73995 min........ 70300+1095dest+2600gg+$2400 for destination and GG.
You pay $72,800 min
I believe I checked every box (with the exception of painted on stripes $10K, vinyl stripes $1K, side stripes $375) and mine came out to $96,980. The Handling package is N/A if you are getting the CF track pack.Just finished building a GT500 just the way that I want and it came to $101,075.
That price did not include the $10,000 for painted OTT stripes which would obviously put this car at ~$111,000 plus tag, license, administration fees and taxes.
I would suggest that not only will this type of MSRP pricing quite possibly elevate the present value for anyone presently owning an R model but also suggest that the value of the 662 HP GT500's from 2013 and 2014 may have just got a boost in current value as well.
I also built a 2020 GT350R just the way that I want and it came to $78,120 plus tag, license, admin fees and taxes.
The above prices sure make me smile based on being able to purchase my 2018 Base R for ~$65,000.
With ADM's coming into play this is going to be interesting to watch over the next few months or so.
is that with whatever extra the red costs and a black roof?I believe I checked every box (with the exception of painted on stripes $10K, vinyl stripes $1K, side stripes $375) and mine came out to $96,980. The Handling package is N/A if you are getting the CF track pack.
I'm hoping I didn't miss anything.
Attached is an image of the order sheetis that with whatever extra the red costs and a black roof?
