Strut Bar

Does anyone know where you can get just the genuine strut bar that's fitted to the US Models? Is it a Ford Performance item? I can only find it with the KBrace but we already have that fitted! Thanks

For what its worth, the one he linked is the GT350R one, not the regular Ford Performance. You'll want part number M-20201-MA (unless fitment is somehow specific to the export model).

you have to shim them all to work on RHD models but its just a couple of washers or an impact driver on the nut to bend one of the tabs of the brace.
the gt350R brace is alu not steel so is considerably lighter its also more expensive because of that.

I got mine from eBay - imported from US - YatesPerformance. A pricey way to do it but it was the one that I wanted.
Just did a quick search on eBay and there’s a place in US doing take-off ones for not TOO bad a price.

You will need washers/spacer to fit with the k-brace we have or can be ground to fit with grinder.

I've got family in the states and am over there in September so could bring it home! So I just need to shim or bend it? Seems weird when our cars should be the same except the steering wheel? That one in the link that's the standard one fitted to US Models then?

The yank cars don't come with the K brace as factory standard they come with a strut brace instead so you have to grind a little off the back tab of the s trut brace so it sits flush with tower and kbrace fitted. or remove the kbrace. or shim up the other holes to raise the entire brace to the level of the kbrace.

i'm pretty sure there are no rhd specific ones its just the lhd one with a couple of washers in the pack.

Yup - well spacers rather than washers. Did search to see it if available standalone but to no avail
