Blew it off w/leaf blower, hosed it, sprayed on some orange cleaner/degreaser, let it sit, then laundry soap and water w/brush and rag, rinse, blew it off again.Out of curiosity, what did you use to clean the suspension and brake components?
Finished with a spray of some aero 303 on all the rubber bushings and lines, rag wipedown, and waxed the paint on the calipers. De-tarred, washed and waxed the wheels inside and out, mounted and torqued to 150#.
Oh, and touched up a paint chip on a caliper. The brushed on caliper paint is holding up nicely.

I watched the install video. And used the same needle nose vise grips shown to compress the middle of the old spring. It popped right out. And I used the same method to install the the Steeda spring and purchases. No problems with my 2017 GT doing this and I love the way it feels now
