Congrats! Means Ford is shipping cars!
Yea the tracker had it coming in on 3-13, but it showed earlier. Ford must be doing something right. I hope you all get your cars on time without any headaches.

Mine is on a train in New Boston MI, it should arrive before the end of March.

My October 401A order that has said "In Production - 2/20" status for weeks just lost the window sticker (sticker link had said 2/12). At least something has changed!

I don’t understand what’s going on. On March 9, the tracking site showed the following:
Order date: 10/8/18
Estimated delivery: 2/3/19
Order no: F 687
Blend date:1/23/19

It stated 36 Days to delivery. Today, March 13, it now shows 39 days to delivery. How can the dates be going UP if the steering wheels have started filling waiting orders? Other guys are getting their cars sooner and all I’m hearing from my salesman is crickets. So frustrated!!

Note your blend date, 1/23. Right in the middle of the 1/17 - 2/11 shutdown. Your car was likely one of the first ones on the line when the line restarted on 2/11, and therefore was built without a wheel and put off to one side waiting until wheels showed up (2/25 from news reports). The tracker can't handle this, so when the estimated delivery date passed, it started asking "How many days are there between 2/3 and today?" and began counting up because whoever wrote the code didn't bother to test the boundary conditions.

The guys getting their cars have cars that started after the 2/25 arrival of steering wheels, because it would make no sense for Ford to build more cars with problems (no wheels) while fixing others with the same problem.

That leaves up to 8000 cars off to the side waiting for (a) the supplier to provide 8000 extra wheels over and above those going onto the production line and (b) time for someone to put them on the cars.

They won't tell the salesmen (or the salesmen won't tell you) anything in order to prevent order cancellations and reorders. For example, let's assume they can fix 200 cars per day (I'm making this number up). It will take 40 production days to fix 8000 cars at that rate, so let's assume 9 weeks with holidays and such. Add in 3 weeks to inspect and ship, and cars can be up to 12 weeks out. If they can only fix 150/day, that becomes 16 weeks. Hell, it goes to 21 weeks if they can only fix 100/day. If the sales force knew that and told customers, many people would find another dealer, pay extra to get a priority number below 10, and then see which one came in first, cancelling the other and eating the deposit ($500 in my case) on the cancelled cars. Dealers are then stuck with custom order cars they don't want.

Sure, my fix rate numbers are made up, and I've been overly cynical in doing so, but that's why either (a) Ford isn't telling the dealers or (b) the dealers aren't telling the customers.

Well, today was supposed to be the day. BTW, how to you read the blend date?

It's on your window sticker. The last 6 digits are year/month/day.

If I'm not mistaken, your order was priority 80 (dealer stock). That is pretty much the lowest priority. Most likely other orders have been jumping up in front of you since you put your order it. Also, depending on your blend date, you may have gotten caught up in the steering wheel debacle.

Guys, my new ride just came in on time according to the tracker. Here’s the breakdown:

Ordered 01-07-19
VIN 01-10-19
Built 02-25-19
Shipped 02-27-19
Delivered 03-09-19
Purchased 03-10-19

Pic with wife trying to steal it after the mods were added.
Timeline was great, my salesman said they sell the most Raptors in the state so getting allocation was never an issue for us.
Great looking ride. Hope you and your wife thoroughly enjoy it!

Since my delivery date and online window sticker are now gone, I decided to see what the dealership might respond with. My dates were:
Order - 10/25
VIN - About 4 weeks later
Earlier window sticker date - 2/12
Current COTUS production date - 2/20
Then delivery date went to N/A and window sticker link stopped returning data.
401A car without magnaride or active exhaust. Just black accents and Safe & Smart.

Dealership says the car was sent offsite for a special package. They don't know what or for how long. He said that is often stripes but I didn't get stripes. I did get black accents/roof. Is that done on the line or at an offsite shop? Or do they use the same code for the 8000 cars needing a steering wheel? My private cash offer ends 3/31 so I can kiss that goodbye. Good luck everyone!

When you ordered it, didn't you sign a final price with monthly payments? Even if the car arrives later, your price should be the same.

Hey, let's hope that they're upfitting the new wheels at the offsite location instead of in the parking lot and that's where you're headed.

If it were me, I'd be calling Ford customer service and asking for a new private cash offer, as they held up the car you wanted to use it on far past the original date. You may get lucky.

My 10/25/18 order, 2/12/19 in production 401A just moved to awaiting shipment! No window sticker yet but fingers crossed. It won't arrive before my private cash offer expires. Which ford email or number is incentive customer service to see if I can get a new one? I'm going in circles online. Thanks!

My private cash offer didn't end up as good as expected, it came down to either one of the $500 rebates OR the $750 private cash so I only ended up $250 to the good. At least that will pay for about half of the spare tire that Ford doesn't even offer for PP1.
