Is this cracking dry rot? Concerning? Normal? Not sure what I am looking at.
Tires are original, delivered April 2019... under 8k miles... car does not get a lot of action unfortunately.
Only on the fronts.
Looking at a GT350 (stock style) shift knob for my GT.
I see American Muscle has one as well as CJPony.
The AM one required a locknut, but it also somewhat cheaper.
Who has which one? Are you happy?
Shipment on March 17 - and after a long train ride, it has been sitting a rail yard in PA for the last week. It went from a rail facility in New Boston, MI to somewhere in Maryland, and is now off the train on a "ramp" in PA.
I am glad I am patient! About to hit 6 months since I ordered it...
My blend date 1/22 car is in transit. But still sitting in New Boston, MI, just down the street from the plant at a rail yard.
Interestingly, every other car at my dealer has CONVOY on the window sticker. I get RAIL.
My tracker just turned over to "in transit" with a new delivery date of March 28, but also an estimated in transit time of 28 days. I'll take it.
Of course, the last few days it has been rotating delivery dates in the past and future.
:frown:
I have told myself mid April as a cut off date. But what am I supposed to do? Cancel then and start over? I tried to buy off a dealer lot last year and could not find anything configured like I wanted and I looked pretty high and low. Going far away is a pain.
Let's hope for the best!
My tracker was counting up but has now moved out to a new delivery date (4th one) of 3/23, but still says awaiting shipment.
Ordered: 10/4
Blend: 1/22
First Delivery Date: 2/14
Switched to Awaiting Shipment: 2/11
There are cars (well 2) with a blend date of 1/22 now on dealer lots in the mid Atlantic region; website shows actual photos which is encouraging! Means they have been there a few days.
