Ran across this thread. Now I plan on going with the FRPP struts / shocks, but a while back I was looking at OEM part numbers for 15-17 PP cars - I was looking at low mile used PP suspension take off parts. I'm sure someone knows what the answer is - but it's odd (at least to me) that when you look in the Ford OEM catalog, there is NO strut listed specifically for PP cars.

For example - Ford catalog for 2017 GT Premium:

FR3Z-18124-AA
W/O SHELBY, COUPE, W/20 WHEELS

FR3Z-18124-Y
W/O SHELBY, CONVERTIBLE, W/O 20 WHEELS, 5.0 LITER

JR3Z-18124-A
W/O SHELBY, COUPE, W/O 20 WHEELS, 2.3, 5.0 LITER

FR3Z-18124-AD
W/O SHELBY, CONVERTIBLE, W/20 WHEELS, CONVERTIBLE, W/20 WHEELS

That's the only part numbers listed for 17 Premium GT, same for look up on 17 GT as well.

Looking up a 17 V6 gets you these:

JR3Z-18124-E
W/O SHELBY, CONVERTIBLE, W/O 20 WHEELS, 3.7 LITER

And for 3.7 coupes :

JR3Z-18124-A
W/O SHELBY, COUPE, W/O 20 WHEELS, 3.7 LITER

Same as above listing on GT.

So where's the Performance Pack front strut listed?

Now in the same catalog, look up Rear Shock:

FR3Z-18125-H
W/O SHELBY, COUPE, W/O PERFORMANCE PKG

FR3Z-18125-W
W/O SHELBY, COUPE, W/PERFORMANCE PKG

Ford Performance Parts website seems to be down right now or I'd look - so if you wanted to order OEM replacements for a PP car - what would you order for the front?

They seem to have F'd up the part number nomenclature on all the autonation dealer parts online stores. It used to be clearer. To get brand new PP fronts, I would send a message to @LevittownFordParts. Benny will make sure you get the right stuff. FR3Z-18125-W is the right one for the rear.

The FP Track stuff is quite excellent though, and I would strongly recommend their relatively small cost delta over the PP hardware.

I'm definitely going the FRPP route with GT350R spring - waiting a bit because I just pulled the trigger on a lift for my shop, so it'll be after that's installed and setup. I was just curious since nothing seems to be listed for PP replacements.

I have 5200 miles on a 18 pp1 car. I find the overall ride to be firm, responsive, yet still pretty compliant over pavement irregularities. Not what I would call bouncy.

I think Ford redesigned the PP shocks for the 2018s, could be wrong. Maybe they fixed the "bounce".

UPDATE: After installing the rear shocks the car is considerably more firm in the rear. The difference is night and day. The front is still to cushy and bounces and i hate it. My question now is what struts would be gd for the front? I have access to the front TP struts but if I'm in there I'd like to go ahead and get something worth while. What shock would pair with the rear shocks nicely?

I just installed the FP Track struts (replacing Steeda fixed) this weekend and they ride beautifully, though with the FP Track rear shocks too. They're excellent.

Thinking about those for the front.
