Hi I was thinking about getting my 2018 Mustang GT PP1 Supercharged. I was looking at the roush SuperCharger on American Muscle. According to them with everything stock and just the supercharger it makes 580RWHP. I was wondering what I would need to upgrade to get about 700RWHP. Thanks for the help.

A different blower. LOL.

I'm joking, I don't know the definitive answer, but most likely a pulley change and some fuel system upgrades(boost a pump, maybe bigger injectors etc). That's if that particular blower is capable of supporting that much power.

You will probably get better answers in the Forced Induction subforum.

Skip the Roush and put a Stage 2 Whipple on it and be done, or look at the new Edelbrock kit. Either of those will get you there.

That 580 rwhp car may not have the latest tune revision. I've seen a few cars on youtube dyno at 620 to 640 rwhp. An E85 tune can get you up to 740 rwhp.

Yea, that’s not ideal though. They only did that because the supercharger is severely limited.

Roush opted to try and fit their normal rotor on top design and paid the price in performance by severely limiting the intercooler and inlet sizes.

Get a whipple or edelbrock.

The only reason I would get roush is because they warranty my car still for 36 thousand miles.

Supercharger warranties suck.

Edelbrock comes with a free one (roush costs extra), but they both are severely limited.

You won’t see 700 whp out of a warrantied supercharger setup.

The Roush warranty doesn't cost extra. The only PD blower that costs extra for the warranty is Whipple.

ah, thanks for correcting that. Either way, it'd cost an arm and a leg to have a ford dealer install it to get the warranty, so might as well be paying extra for it.

I paid $7200 for the blower and $950 for install at my dealer.
