I'd love to see some in-car videos of Joe Shmoe 5.5psi on 91 octane hellion or other turbo kit, to see how the tune is locked in, how it shifts at WOT, etc. Seems strange over a year after this car has been on the streets that I literally can't find a single in-car video of a turbo 2018 GT?

You'd think the manufacturers would be eager to make these types of videos (or to entice others to make them with their product).

The MT82 is garbage/ breaks stock and the 10R80 aftermarket/Tuning still doesn't seem to be there... Only a handful of 2018 cars running below 10 sec.

Also for cars with 3.55 gears have a problem with 7th gear slipping. Once you get up in horsepower atleast. Seems around 750-800 7th gear cant hold the power. Exedy needs to come up with upgraded clutches

The 18’s are just barely a year old now from the early (Sept) builds. Internet Fear Porn is one big reason. Guy’s were popping their Gen 1’s left and right over on svtperformance circa 2011-2013. My buddy on stock 17 GT had a short block replaced @ 6500 miles. Many Gen 2 had same problem.

You then have a factory 7500 rpm motor that has a little piston clearance and makes a little noise on start up (gen 3) and every tool in the shed is screaming bloody murder on Boobtube. Sure there are some failures happening on stock 18’s. This is not New news. Shit happens and parts break. Some motors make 1200 whp. Some die stock. Buy a 13k MMR 2000 motor if you want more peace of mind. Blah blah...

If I could go back in time, I would still have bought my car new... but i would have pulled the engine, and put a built long block in from the start. Then either keep the new engine to go back to stock or sell to recoup some costs of the built motor.

my car runs like stock and went 9.70 @153 9.80 @150 on 20's
Nice. Even nicer if your grabbing gears and making that pass.

BTW do they still have the tram up in the Sandia Mountains? Rode that tram when I was a kid. That was an awesome thing. 1.5 miles between towers and better than 1100 feet off the ground as I remember.
