I didnt say it couldnt be done. Go ahead hail marry a dyno pull for that giant number.

I still say its foolish and unreasonable for a stock engine.

Gee how long do you think 1k+ is going to last on a stock engine?
Many LPF cars are making 1000+ and abused every weekend without problems...

And yes I've been there and witnessed it myself plenty of times.

Ok how many are 1k plus DAILY qnd how many miles on them?

We can go back and forth all day.

The gen2s hold about 800 reliably id expect the same for a gen3.

If you want to claim the unicorn 1k hp + thats a daily as the norm Id be calling BS.

Either way 800 plus is borrowed time stock long block.

I’ve only seen one 2018 posted here blown up and the guy was expecting it. I’ve heard of 2 10r80 trans failures but the car was running over 160 mph in the quarter which takes a whole lot of power. There are a several of 900-950 rwhp 2018’s that appear to be pretty reliable.

Bullshit on LPF running that many 1k cars with stock bottom ends. Too many of us in Texas know the truth behind that to let those rumors continue.

Anyone can glory pull but the shit in hear is more like dyno altering lies. Slight alteration in temperature makes a big difference if ya know what I mean. LPF has a lot of fan boys, including their secret Facebook fanboy page. Those that say otherwise are liars or they "moonboosted" their cars to broke. Not going to say they dont make power, but there are more issues they don't talk about with the design and to go around saying "a bunch of their daily driven cars make 1k" is laughable. Pretty sure the Dallas crew called out Justin and the LPF fanboys and no one wouldnt come up... but there are a number of us headed to TX2K next year so we will see what's up then.

Anthony runs the shiii out of his stock engine Whipple car and with that MPH at 4000 lbs, it’s making over 1000 RWHP. I too do t think it’ll stay as reliable as a built engine but I can’t deny a car that is doing it and still a stock engine except OPG/CG’s.

Anthony knows that and so do I. He built my ‘18 exactly like his a few months ago and it put down 978 RWHP at 8000 RPMs. Talk about tight butt cheeks and cringing at that RPM........why? Because it is the stock engine. I’ll look into a built engine soon though.

I bought my 2018 literally to TT it and go kick ass and have fun at the 800ish power level. Bought my 2018 a few months ago and despite talking to local s550 owners with TT kits and had done my own research as well... Find out they are almost nothing like their previous year counterparts.... No aftermarket solutions or upgrades for the trans other than a buy a new one for $5000? FUUUUUU that, had I know that I probably would have bought a 2017 already done for a decent price. Hard for me to spend $15-20k on a turn key build when there is no aftermarket solution for the 10r80 trans.
Despite all of the ranting and raving and stories of how "they can take 1000rw all day long" and "its my DD etc etc and beat the fuck out of it!" I ain't buyin it; misery loves company. If I can't build/rebuild a trans in a modded car, i have no business playing in that realm.
With that being said, BRB I have to go rebuild my T56 for the 5th or 6th time; I think I just found out where all of my trust issues stem from lol

Patience my friend. 10R80 solutions are coming and will happen eventually.

The gen3 engine and 10r80 are both new hell circle d nor anyone else even has a converter out yet.

They will and im 100% positive exedy will have trans parts soon too.

Wanna go fast with newest combo and be the first one to find out what fails 1st and at what power levels umm yeah thats going to be expensive.

I second these comments. The aftermarket world will prevail and come out with the parts, clutches, tuning etc. for the 10R80. Hang tight.
