I'm wondering if all of the seat versions with the exception of the Recaros, so the cloth, base leather, and premium leather, are all the same seat with just a different cover? Anyone know?

Those seats look good I'm just wondering if it will be the same exact seat as mine, which has zero cushion.

My seats will be identical to yours in terms of cushion. The recaros will be even less. Stock seats are basiclly the same between trims with the recaros being a different design/foam.

Thinking about it, you probably actually have different cushioning considering the base seats are not heated and cooled right? My cushioning has slots in it for air flow, I wonder if it actually is the same with just slots cut out or if its different altogether.

Do you sink into your seats? Like after a drive, if you scoot forward in the seat, is that part significantly stiffer? I wonder if its the seat frame, the cushioning, the metal supports in the rear half of it, etc. In the pic of the cushioning with the seat cover pulled up, the light gray is super plush and the black at the rear is super hard. Kind of creates a shelf when you sit on it which is a weird feeling. The rearmost rectangular section (the sections are created by the pressure of the seams in the leather stitching) is the part I sit on, and that is much less supportive that the forward two, because maybe when you look at the picture of the frame, the forward half has a metal support to it while the rear doesn't.

Well yes the foam in slightly different in that regard but speaking from personal experience, I can not tell a comfort difference between the base and preminum seat.

My 15 GT premium had the leather Recaros and the wiring harness for the heated and cooled seats was just sitting there. Shouldn't affect anything.
My car is the same. Do you know if I would have to swap HVAC control to add this function or just the buttons on it aside from the seats of course...

Not 100% sure. I would assume if you get the correct buttons and seats and hook everything up it should work. Can't say 100% though because I never did the conversion.

Bullshit;

I've owned too many Ford "premium" cars with their "leather", and it's terrible.

It wears poorly, is hot in the summer, colder than a witch's titty in the winter, and dones't hold you in the corners.

I have the base cloth Recaro's in mine and if I have the option to change them like you are, I wouldn't go with them. I think the bolsters are too flimsy and soft and get smashed easily. I protect the driver's side because I know how to get in and out of them without touching or squishing the left hip/thigh bolster and I'm not fat. However, the same can't be said about the passenger side where I don't have as much control. Chicks especially tend to first sit on them and then slide down! I have to constantly keep telling them! Anyways, I know companies like Porsche and such have bolsters that are reinforced with a plastic backing so if you sit on them, your body will flex before the plastic does (unless you're like super fat and heavy in which case, you won't fit anyways). I'd get those and I will hopefully swap mine out for those once I find a good set.
