Love the ride just got today
And all the salesman and shop guys came out and said that they liked mine more than the two Shelby’s they had they loved the rims
Ordered 5/28
Built 7/17
Delivered 8/17 (east coast)

That was a long wait for delivery. Mine was built on 8/7. Cotus says that it is in transit but Ford Performance says that it is still at the factory. I have an edd of 8/28, but if yours took a month to get to Martha's Vineyard what is the chance that mine will make it to Maryland by the 28th?

A long wait? Heck I ordered 5/8, original EDD was 8/10. That came and went and learned from Ford chat yesterday the car is sitting 90 miles from my house (where the train dropped it), with a new EDD of 8/28. How f'd is that - a projected 18 days to go 90 miles.... 4 months from order.... Ugh.

I hear ya, I ordered 4-5-18 and mine has been sitting at the rail yard Ramp 5R Twin Oaks PA for 3 weeks, original delivery date was 8-10-18 now it is 9-10-18, if the car is not delivered this month I lose my 1500.00 in Private cash. Dealer can keep the car, I will buy something else, not sure what ford is thinking but there customer service is less than desirable

^^^ That an interesting point re: private cash. I have that for $1000 with expiration of 8/31. If for some reason 8/28 comes and goes and I can't close by 8/31, I'm going to raise hell. I'm not sure I'd refuse the car but I'd cause a scene with the dealer to make the $1000 offer work (if possible). I mean, how can a Porsche dealer be willing to go anywhere in the US to source a car but the local Ford dealer can't get a car 90 miles away. Maybe apples and oranges.

I have a feeling Ford doesn’t want to pay for a single truck or a partially filled truck to drive to a certain area to deliver cars, I am floored that they will allow the cars to sit for over a month. I had a 2018 order cancelled so I am just about fed up with Ford. Dodge can deliver a car in 4 weeks, Chevy says they can do 4-6 weeks, 14-16 weeks for a Mustang, I will walk away from the car

@TTown and GagneGo, according to Ford customer relations, your dealer is supposed to be able to lock in your private cash offer by calling their dealer customer service rep.

My father just ordered a 2019 Corvette, and they are supposed to deliver within 8 weeks.

The dealer can back date the sale to allow for the $1K private cash. Not sure how far out they can do this but definitely into the first 10 days of September. If they tell you they cannot then they aren't trying hard enough for your sale.
