I am in love with the GT4. Ford really build an amazing GT4 car. I really want to see it in person eventually. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Fantastic car! :sunglasses:

I guess they don't do driver escape drills... I don't think a helmet would fit through that window.

Those are the refueling ports. These cars are designed for quick pit stops.

Is the GT4 car in the pictures one that will be raced by a team or is that one someone just bought for their own fun or "club" racing? Any idea?

No idea. The old man is the owner/driver. He brought several amazing cars there. Money is obviously not an issue. I think he just loves cool cars and drives them. He was a pretty average guy, nice to talk to.

Can someone tell me what those are on the GT4's decklid panel? I've been wondering since I've seen pictures of it.
They are called dry breaks. If you have seen pictures of vintage racing where they are fueling the car and pulling the fuel filler away and dumping about 2 gallons of race fuel on a smoking hot race car... Well that's the point of a "dry" break. It doesn't allow fuel to flow until it is pushed into the filler, and once it is pulled out, fuel stops flowing.
