Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+

Is anyone using the Michelin pilot sport A/S 3+ (regardless of size)? Any thoughts on the tire and how it performs, rides and longevity (miles)? Any comparison of it to the 4S?

It seems like the Michelin pilot sport A/S 3+ might be a better year round choice, especially for places where it can be pretty cold 3 months out of the year.

I use them on my actual 2017 gt/pp and run them on my previous 08 gt/cs , i'll say their good at everything, low noise , good grip in hot or cold outside temperature , very good on rain, drove them 20,000 km on the 08 and very low wear ( been on the track a few times ) they have a thread-ware of 500 witch is pretty high for sport tire , the 4S is 300 .... So depending on your needs , for a DD the as3+ is very good. I'm in Canada , if you forget winter , we have 3 month of hot weather and 3-4 month of chilly morning so the 4 season is a wise choice .

i run them on my boosted gt and there great .. grip pretty well and run nice, handle well also .. its what you would expect from mich.. well made and balanced tire

Dunno why everyone thinks P-zeros are shit. IMO they are a pretty good tire.

They are a very sticky tire in cooler temps, not real cold. But, maybe 40s and up. They are very sticky in 70+.

Wear very good. Are great handling for an a/s.

I have them on my 29x9 foundry rims. 275 width.

I purchased a set of Pilot AS3+ and drove from Seattle to St. Louis in the dead of winter Dec/Jan. They were amazingly good. Temps got to ~ -15+ according to car's thermometer. Conditions included dry, compact and loose snow upto ~5 inches.


The car was loaded with stuff in the trunk and tires new which I'm sure helped. I was expecting to get stuck and had bought some tire socks (chains/cables were tough to get due to size/clearance). I didn't need them.


My experience has been VERY good with these.
