2018 Mustang GT PP Window tint

For years now, I have been blessed to be able to upgrade my car.
With that in mind, yesterday I upgraded to a 2018 Mustang GT PP, Black, from a 2017 Mustang GT Premium.

All cars and SUV's I have ever owned, I had tint on them. I think only one has ever come with tint.

All that to say, I am seriously considering not tinting my 2018. But, to me, the car is already black on black, and with legal tint, it would probably look even better, no?

However, just not sure I can be bothered. And, tint is really more about looks, no? After all, in Atlanta, Georgia, it is hot. Tint isn't reducing the amount of incoming heat.

Tint does reduce incoming heat and is damn near a necessity imo. I didn't realize how much I appreciate my tint until driving a rental again on a recent trip in WI. It reduces a ton of glare coming in through the windows while doing normal driving and I don't think I'll ever not tint a car, cheap investment for how much use I get out of it, normally take care of it within the first two days of owning a car.

I was just having a conversation with the missus, about not installing tint.
She said, and I quote, "Well, that's not happening, we're installing tint...".

It looks even better yes but even with legal 35% on my doors I've been stopped 3x because it's looks that much darker.

Yeah the back glass is nearly flat so it's a given that you need to block the sun out.

Tint is a huge help with interior temps on these cars. I went with Ceramic and I'm happy I did.

Not a fan at all for the old "murdered" look. "Transparent" green-house look breaks up the monotony of a black car. Post your photos...

I had Ultra Premium tint installed...

18 GT Premium, I did 18 on the sides and back and 55 on the entire windshield (Note: the windshield tint is not that dark, it is just the angle and light)

Acworth, GA Police would have me remove that in minutes.

I've never seen tint on the windshield before. Didn't know they even offered that.
