Steeda CAI with GT350 hood?

Hi,

Does anyone know whether the Steeda CAI airbox is compatible with the lower profile GT350 hood?

I'm looking to replace my OEM GT hood soon and am wondering if my Steeda CAI will cause issues with the lower profile hood?

Anyone know?

Based on our product fitment - it will not fit.

Damn it! Could I remove the airbox temporarily when the hood is fitted, then buy a lower profile airbox later?

Would removing the airbox cause issues with intake temps with the GT350 hood? I presume the vented hood will release hot air from the engine bay to ensure cool air is always present?

Can the Steeda airbox be trimmed down a little to suit the lower hood?
