Ok, so I’ve had my GT for about a month now and lately I’ve noticed some glitchy things and I’m curious if any of you have experienced them. Totally random:

40% of the time, once I get in and start the engine, my seat doesn’t return to last position. I have to use my preset to get my seat to the normal driving position.

I usually leave my exhaust in quiet mode. I will shut the car off, get out and do whatever it is that I’m doing, come back to the car and start it and it will be in normal mode exhaust mode. And it’s totally random. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt.

I had a hard time figuring out my track apps. Seems people have different experiences about when there’s is available. My track apps will not work unless I go to track mode and acknowledge the “track only” warning. If I go out of drag or track they will not work. I can’t even go straight to drag mode and they work because it doesn’t prompt the “track only....press ok”. Which, may be the way it’s designed but others have said they have more access.

What say you guys? Any experience with this or have some of your own? Or maybe point something out that I’m missing/doing wrong.

I've only had two days now but I turned off the convenience/exit mode. I was worried it would crush any backseat occupants.

I had a 2017 GT PP1, after I would turn off car, seat would move back. I get out, and return later and sometimes the seat would not move forward again. It didn't happen enough to bother me though, so I ignored it. No other issues but I didn't own it very long, about 9500 miles worth, but they were fun miles.

Looks like the seat glitch is a common thing, though I've only experienced it once (today actually), my friend says his does it about half the time. But the exhaust is not a glitch, unless you put it in quiet start mode all the time, it will start with normal, but it seems like there's a time frame or action that'll not trigger it to switch back to normal, though I'm not sure what exactly the trigger is.

I have had mine for a week now and also have noticed the seat return issue. However, it's easily cured by punching the preset button, so I haven't worried about it.

Which brings up another glitch actually on the exhaust. I have had it set to start in quiet mode in the morning...and it never has. As far as times other than that, I would set it in quiet mode and it would stay there for multiple "key" (sorry) cycles. Now all of a sudden it is defaulting to normal mode. I think what make these silly things so frustrating is there doesn't seem to be discernible patters or triggers. They SEEM to just be completely random.

In my 2016, if I enter and touch start with the clutch out to turn on the infotainment for entering a destination of listening to music while waiting for a passenger, when I press start again to start the engine, the seat will sometimes return to the exit position. Been waiting to hear someone with short legs bumped into something when that movement let the clutch out.

^Quiet Start is not working?
Correct, the programmed quiet start. I can manually turn it on to quiet mode and it works but when I set the timer (6am to 7am), using the remote start, it cranks up in normal mode.

This is sort of a silly questions but are you using the same key fob all the time, or do you every randomly switch? I would guess some of the things (like the smart seat position) are set up key specific.

Not a silly question...but I don't think it applies. I have two admin keys and no mykeys so I don't see that being an issue...unless there is something I am not aware of or didn't see in the owners manual.

As per the manual, mycolor and seat position can be set to a key fob. However, remote start seems to default to last key fob used settings sometimes and then upon hitting the start button will require touching the pre-set manually to set the desired pre-set if you use a different fob then the one that is married to your normal fob.

I have been playing with these settings as my wife is, well a lot shorter than me and these damn seats move sooooooo slow so having the key fobs set to our individual pre-sets makes it way more convenient.

Thanks Ace21 I thought I remembered seeing something in there about it.
