Those two sentences back to back, almost seem like the knock wasn't "false"

Sorry for your loss :(
We found some intercooler pipping hitting the body and the header hitting the a/c bracket so the false knock was there. What happened after that the world may never know lol:frusty:

The fuel is so forgiving you can basically be completely in left field with the tune, and still have a solid running car. It's pretty crazy.

Imagine you are playing darts at a bar at night.

91 octane, = you better hit pretty close to the bulleye.
93 octane, = you better at least hit the dart board.
E85 = just hit any part of the wall at all, and she will live. LOL
Was racing my car over the weekend. Top of 5th gear at 6800-6900 RPM, over 170mph, WOT, 17+ psi of boost...

Fuel line going to the rails completely comes off and sprays down the engine bay with fuel and kills power to the motor.

I can't see any signs of damage to the motor. E85 is truly amazing stuff.

Did you go to the WGF Ocala 1/2 Mile In January? I talked to a guy there with a Yellow S550 with a procharger on it as well. car was running good if that was you lol

That's crazy! But makes sense, and also why I only beat on my car with E85 in the tank. seen too many Ringland-Deletes with 93 or less lol. if its readily available in your area I think its a no brainer! and it smells better!

Sorry for the loss of your motor  I had the same symptoms on 93 with my vortech kit, finally got all my false knock figured out and then the car took a shit a week later while logging. I had oil everywhere in the intake system, turns out I had the same ring land issue as you. Got a new motor, new tuner and went E85 and the car runs like a champ. Constant pulls to 160 and its holding up so far lol. Good luck on your build. Just remember we all come back stronger then before :ford: - Anthony Velgen
Who was tuning your car before PBD?

How much boost?
Who knows. Don't have it running yet. My plan for now is to get it running on e85 and max out the p1sc1 and see where I am. Boost # is only one part of the equation. How it runs, what the maf is showing for airflow, etc. Then either send it in and upgrade to d1x or buy f1 series. Only time will tell.
