Hello. Just started a different newbie post about tunes. Converter time...
I have talking with Circle D about models for my car.
They recommend the 5C or the 4C. 245 mm. Car will likely be NA for a long time (unless I find a smoking deal! Or used)
Daily driver. Convertible.
Any regrets with your choice of converter? Did the car need a tune after the converter install? Planning a tune (see that section). Does a converter play nice with the Ford Power Pack 2 or stick with one of the known tuners?
Will the car still be docile enough for my wife to drive?
Really, in looking at the options for converters, there’s really only a few out there with the best known as Circle D. Anyone try anything different?
Will there be much difference instreetability between the 5C and 4C? How much is left on the table between them? I know, been discussed over and over. I guess my only experience is with a Vortech C4 fox body car. Not really the same though. Only half the gears lol!
Thanks for looking! Hopefully get some more insight and advice into this!
