So after a good 2 years of romping around on the Whipple, it looks like my transmission took a poop.
Was doing a 4th gear pull, let off and heard a thud of some sort and then the transmission wouldn't shift into 5th or back into 4th correctly. Hoping it's just the intermediate shaft that broke but I'm not sure of the symptoms. 1-3rd seems to work fine with no weird grinding or rattling that I was aware of but didn't like trying to shift past that. Was able to limp back to my shop, no CELs.
Now, I have a few questions because I was wondering if you guys did anything else while the transmission was out and if you addressed any other worthwhile concerns? Otherwise I'm just going to order the Teambeefcake 6R80 stage 2 to replace the clutches and shaft. Did you guys order any additional Ford gasket/seals?
