What is the construction on these? How about the dimensions & offset?
They're made of a solid lightweight foam and have a strap on the tall end for handling - they weigh around 15 lbs each. Here's a pic from their website with all of the dimensions. They make a variety of sizes, but for a GT350 (especially the R), you should avoid the shorter ones.

Ouch - but mine is just an idea for now and hasn't even begun to be shaped into metal.

Still a few weeks out - planned for the week of 3/26, but no window sticker or blend date yet.

Hoping spring (or at least a little rain to wash away the road salt) comes to Flat Rock before my car sees the light of day.

Editing to add..... Gotta wonder how many of those cars will someday be advertised for sale, many years down the road, as having "never seen snow."

Another edit..... just noticed that one of those looks to be Avalanche Grey with white stripes - since that's a '17 color, maybe this is an old picture.

That yellow one better not be mine, damn it!

Edited to add:

I think the white with blue OTT stripes is machsmith 's

A little snow isn't going to hurt these cars one bit assuming that salt does not enter into the mix which I doubt it will.

My main concern at the FR assembly plant is acid rain as that can certainly do some damage to a paint job if left attended for any period of time especially if some really hot weather allows it to bake in.

Found out the hard way and had to get a paint correction on one of my new cars.

Personally I don't see a big issue here on the short term based on what I have been told about the holding area at FR over the last while.

Weather looks promising for this time of year in Flat Rock.

Yeah, I have that place saved on my weather.com page.

For the R versions, the Sport Cup tires are not designed to be used or stored at near-to-below freezing. They will degrade and become brittle and possibly crack.
They use standard street wheels and tires under those conditions

He's got the weather charts and forecasts......

You are a kid on Christmas eve, huh? :D

I bet you didn't factor in the time it will spend in transit or the two weeks it will spend sitting on the lot awaiting transport. I asked Gotti to please make sure the windows were up. ;)

How will you break her in? Do you have a planned regimen?
I live past the outskirts of the metro area, so same as my current one - the first 200 miles will be done out in the country on backroads where I can work through the rev range... lots of up and down shifts with engine braking.... working my way progressively up the tach. Smooth on the throttle, but not babying it.

Worked awesome on H2614... no noticeable oil consumption and a very strong feeling engine.... so it should serve JR2?? well.

Your thread hadn't had any action for awhile, thought I'd find something to post to bump it up. :D
