This pic makes me so excited. Congrats, man! I've been daily driving an '02 for the past 15 years. Can't wait for this day to come for me as well.I ended up being able to take it home around 4pm. It's finally mine!
It's been around 7 years since I drove a stick and mannnnnnnnnnnnn am I bad at it, haha. Took it home and washed all of the shit off of it and pulled the plastic/stickers etc and cleaned up the inside. Love it so far, need to hone in my clutch work though.
At first I thought the same thing my friend. That was until I saw the new 18's in person. That changed my mind. I think they look really good. Much better than the stock wheels that came on the wife's '13 GT. Those things sucked even after seeing them in person. :lol:When you get back from your trip change out them wheels asap!!!! Gt350 replicas look pretty good on these cars. Plus with the brand new oem set you can sell them to cover partial cost of the upgrade. I think Ford made ugly wheels on purpose so people would buy the optioned sets.
I'm actually planning to order some CF5Vs soon, going to keep the stock wheels for trips and stuff. They do look a little better in person but still bad overall. When you get back from your trip change out them wheels asap!!!! Gt350 replicas look pretty good on these cars. It's going to be a technology shock that's for sure! Going from an SN95 to this was insane. This pic makes me so excited. Congrats, man! I've been daily driving an '02 for the past 15 years. Can't wait for this day to come for me as well.
I actually ordered the 35# steeda return spring while I was in Georgia, can't wait to give it a try.Best advice I could offer is: Take it easy on the clutch. You will get the hang of it in short order. Also invest in the Steeda Clutch Return Spring. It lets you know exactly the point of engagement.
About time. With as long as it took for you to get your car, you'd think it was fresh off the boat from China.I ended up being able to take it home around 4pm. It's finally mine!

Mine also has a build week of 3/26. Waiting is a pain but worth it.Well kiddo's, I got a VIN # and a build week of 03/26. So far, so good.
I got "in production" at noon on March 6 and the window sticker 15 hours later at 3 am March 7. So you should hopefully have it any time now.Ordered 1/2/2018. Dealer production date 3/12/2018. Actual in production 3/6/2018. No sticker this morning. 6 days sooner than expected. Ford needs to get their production running better. They are selling cars and taking over 3 months to deliver.
I ask Ford performance folks about it. Google Ford performance and give them your VIN in a chat and they can look it up. They just work regular business hours. How do you find the build week?
Order 12-26-17
EDD 5-11-18
Thanks
