I still love the switchfire. All modes are a little louder than the original active exhaust.

85db to 95db is about 12% louder not 10 times.

I also have the switchfire and active exhaust for a couple of years. Cold start in normal mode went from about 85db to 95db. Track mode is certainly louder but I don’t notice any drone at any rpm in any mode. I enjoy the sound much better than stock.

Count me in. I'll be 65 in November and love my mustang gt. I told a neighbor it makes me smile every time I start it and he said he smiles every time I start it. Great to be a senior as I can also sit around in the middle of the day drinking good bourbon.

Someone posted earlier about using a chair leg cap from home depot. I disconnected the tube from the intake and covered it with the cap. It was a perfect fit. I left the sound tube in place and it fits tight against the cap. No need to remove or even block the sound tub. Much quieter in the car...

i just bought 2 rears from Levittown Ford at about $166 each. They shipped directly from Ford performance in Detroit for about $50 to Cincinnati. Total was about $390.

Installed mine yesterday. The only problem was bi-focals. You young guys will understand in a few years. I like the convenience and peace of mind of a very solid place for the Jack and Jack stands.
