Well, it’s physically delivered, but not officially delivered, apparently. Said I can’t take it and they can’t do PDI until it’s listed in their inventory and right now it’s not, and that I might not be able to get it till Monday....

That sounds like a load of shit to me, told them I want it by tomorrow as I’ll be out of town, hopefully I don’t have to wait any god damn longer.

That's bull.. you'd think after all you've been thru they would help you out... I'd show up at the door tomorrow and say I'm not leaving without my car

Mine changed to 'Awaiting Shipiment' as of today. Blend date was 02/27 and production was complete the next day 02/28. EDD shows 20 more days to go ! Maybe i'm lucky but mine is moving really quick
I think our cars will be delivered at the same time to Koons Ford.
My blend date was 02/28. But my EDD is in 18 days though.

Hah, if by some miracle I can take it home today I will be driving it to the Georgia mountains tomorrow with my fiancee. This has been a pretty shit week for me at work so I'm hoping they come through for me so I can end it on a good note.

I was able to sit in it/start it and inspect it a little. I honestly didn't really check it much in depth as my nerves were running at full steam..hopefully the body panels are good.It was also pretty dirty so couldn't admire the paint much. Took one pic.

My order timeline thus far:

Ordered: 11/10/2017 - Original EDD: 2/11/2018
Processing Complete: 1/08/2018
Production Complete: 1/17/2018, marked “Awaiting Shipment” - New EDD: 2/10/2018
Missed 2/10/2018 EDD - New EDD: 2/21/2018
Awaiting Shipment Complete: 1/17/2018 (status not updated in system until 2/16/2018)
Marked “In Transit”: 2/16/2018 – New EDD: 3/3/2018
EDD updated to 3/2/2018
EDD updated to 3/4/2018
EDD updated to 3/5/2018
Train arrived to Birmingham rail yard 2/26/2018
Car loaded onto JCT truck and dispatched 3/1/2018
Delivered to dealer 3/1/2018
Delivered to me: ?

It doesn't take an entire day to PDI a car. They can get it done today for you if they want. It doesn't have to be listed in their inventory, all it is is removing the shipping crap, plugging in their computer, inspecting and a quick detail.

So close...at least it's finally here. I only check this thread anymore to see if you got your car yet. We ordered pretty close to the same time, and I have been driving mine for a month...CONGRATS (close enough)!

They claim that to PDI it and check off whatever requirements they have to show that the car's been PDI'd and that everything is good or if there was an issue and report that issue relies on them having it in this database. I don't see how loading the car to a database would take more than 5 minutes, but, Murphy's law and all.

I'm pulling for you man. Having worked at an Audi/BMW/Porsche dealer, I've seen cars rushed through PDI for on-the-spot deliveries. Customer shows up, car isn't ready, salesman tells customer to grab some lunch and come back, an hour or two later the car has been PDI'd and hastily detailed.

I ended up being able to take it home around 4pm. It's finally mine!

It's been around 7 years since I drove a stick and mannnnnnnnnnnnn am I bad at it, haha. Took it home and washed all of the shit off of it and pulled the plastic/stickers etc and cleaned up the inside. Love it so far, need to hone in my clutch work though.

Congrats!!! It's beautiful. It will come back to you in short order. It's like riding a bike. Was 8 years since I last drove stick and was starting to get better near the end of the test drive. It also helps that it hold hills and makes it hard to stall.
