In the future what would be the best way to know that you have the latest tune out there? Check the app periodically or does whipple send out notice to registered email addresses?
By date, as of now, there are no new scheduled updates. As of 2/26/2018, all Stage 2's are updated.

Ugh. The new tune has been in my car for a week now. It was great at first, but no the issues are back just as bad as before.

I'm starting to consider selling it...

You must have other issues going on. I've been running the new tune for about 250 miles now, and the car feels better than ever. Fuel trims are in a decent range everywhere, less stumbling, and pretty much as smooth as stock.

Yeah I'm wondering if those who have remaining issues may have small air leaks. The areas that are common to leak and will cause issue are the MAF housing where the MAF screws into the inlet pipe, couplers and inlet, the drivers valve breather hose connection underneath the inlet elbow, the throttle body O ring gasket can leak if not seated in its groove. There also have been issues with people having leaks at the bypass mating flange because they install the O ring on top instead of inside. Also I had a friend who had these fuel trim and drivability issues and it ended up being the large O ring on the mating from the SC to manifold. Somehow when it was installed the large O ring came out of its groove on a corner and caused a small leak that was a pain to find.

Ok, well now that I said everything was great, things suddenly go wrong.

Add me to the list of people who suddenly had the tune change on them. Yesterday, my fuel trims were less than +8% while cruising down the interstate just maintaining speed. Today suddenly, I see +17% on LTFT1. While accelerating, they drop into the negative numbers, it's just weird that cruising they are so high. I'm also getting 3-4 degrees of positive knock when transitioning to full throttle. The only thing that changed was that today was a pretty warm day compared to the past week.

Been doing good since the new tune now it’s back to limiting me to 4lb of boost again. If I flash it will run fine for about 80-100 miles then it goes back to this crap

This sh!t is discouraging. What are you guys using to log your LTFTs and PIDs? I haven’t called Whipple to order a cal yet. Is this in the Flare software?

Flare has limited logging. I am using a diagnostic handheld so it’s just live data here.

So I got it home and just changed the power limit in first gear from -15 to -20 and it gives me full boost again. never even turned of the car. something is wonky with their tune. I hate to say it but Lund may be getting money from me soon but I hate to get rid of the power by gear feature

do any of you guys have hptuners and the ability to do detailed logging?

if you go with a custom tune I would go to palm beach dyno.

have you guys looked for exhaust leaks?

Has anyone loaded the new tune and not have issues after a few hundred miles of driving?

I'm waiting for the dealer to finish my header install, but will report back once I get the car back as they loaded the new tune while in the shop.

The better question might be....are than any of us who didnt have any problems, load the new tune, and now has problems.

That behavior is classic signs of a vacuum leak!!!!

My trims were +20 with the old tune. Now with the exception of around 3k rpm they are in the -2 to +5 range most the time. 3k for some reason is +10. Fuel trims work well to tell if there is a leak if the tune is correct in the first place but the fact that mine moved about 20% betweencthe tunes kind of proves that it can’t be relied on in these situations.
