Finally got around to getting this kit installed. Pretty straight forward and came out really good. Will be putting it on the rollers soon to tune and see what kind of power it puts down.

Not just yet. We are in the middle of an Arkansas monsoon lol. Hope to get out tomorrow to start data logging and hopefully get it on the rollers next week if I can get everyone on the same schedule.

The BV57 is great. It is very quiet while cruising around. If you want loud I would go with something else.

I haven't heard it in person, but every video I've heard of it sounds pretty loud. How can it move that much air and be quiet?

The Vortech Maxflow BV57 is much bigger, much louder, and flows like 1400ish CFM. I think the only other BOV that is close in matching flow numbers is the Big Red BOV from procharger

When you start cranking up the boost, its beneficial to have the larger higher flowing BOV so you don't get boost leak or conversely compressor surge because the air/boost can't escape fast enough out of smaller BOV. That is my non-expert understanding...

Yup. Sound-wise you get a nice loud 'psssshhhhh' when you let off under boost. Plenty loud enough for me.
