No actually weight reduction is good and I like most of the ideals here but what I would really like is to get rid of the black plastic along the bottom of the car.

No way man, the 2018 hood is superior to the 15-17...so much better visibility, and looks just as good.

Def agree on a GT350 wheel.
I have to disagree with you on this one man. That and the turned down headlights are the ONLY reasons I jumped on my '17 when I saw the reveal.

Besides, visibility is over rated, just ask the Camaro owners LOL :D

We made it fine for a lot of years without seatbelts too. Flathead V8s with 95 hp were the standard for a few years as well.

Is a HUD required? No, but it's cool and a "nice to have" for at least some people. "It's always been this way" just doesn't hold up though.
Hard to believe people drove around cars with such little power. Now one of the main troll/psychopath comments is that you need massive amounts of low end power to drive around town. I think people just became worse at driving

Power.

Reclining.

Seatbacks.

:frusty:

maybe put the flip-the-seat-forward handle up & to the outside, behind or under the leather belt strap. Theres a reason most 2 doors or verts have it there, where you first look. How about that instead of recessed in the shadows of the hole of a seat back where no one thinks to feel around for.

oh but they do see that big fat plastic recline handle and go straight for it. :headbonk:

Lightweight wheels and a square setup. Preferably with PS4 275s.

Glass Roof, retractable would be even better.

I'd pay $400 for a No Rattles option, if guaranteed for 5 years.
Good luck on that. While my car has no rattles, this sort of thing never lasts. Even the nicest cars I have owned end up rattling after a few years.

The problem is there isn't a luxury Mustang. Just higher performance models. Should be a package that can be added to ecoboost / v8 to bring it up to par with say an m4 or m5 or etc... The power is there (at least on a V8) but the quality isn't

That said I miss:
-- side mirrors that tilt down when in reverse
-- Ditch the radio antenna already - combine it with the sirius antenna in 1 shark fin and preferably, not on the trunk. I hit it every time I'm trying to remove snow.
-- nicer materials inside - way way to much plastic
-- memory seats (multiple drivers)
-- ability to open or close the convertible top > 0mph
-- ideally, switch to a hard top convertible
-- also - open / close the top via the key fob
-- seriously, learn to paint a damn car. Rust on the hood after 1 year? major fail.

(if any of these already exist on some package I dont have, please diregard, lol)
I don't understand this. My wife's Pathfinder has this and I hate it. My mirrors are aimed at my blindspots and when in reverse they point straight down. I have no need to look at the ground when I'm backing up. It is irritating as well. I've asked Nissan how to turn that feature off but they either don't know or don't care to investigate how.

Back on topic I'd want weight reduction, a proper DCT gearbox, shift paddles mounted on the column not the wheel, power reclining seat backs and HUD.

It is already too porky, they don't need to add, they need to get it on a bloody diet as such:

- 2-piece disc all round, 10kg or more saving from current.
- Brembo calipers all round, ditch the ugly rear POS caliper
- HUD, cheap and way overdue.
- 500HP with 7800rpm redline
- 440lb/ft
- More weight saving in the suspension from materials, 20-30kg lighter
- More forged wheel options (10kg or more saving)

In short 500HP stock and under 1650kg please with further improved handling/balance.

Add a carbon fiber roof to this list and I am in. I would easily pay $50k for all that.
