I agree - I would love a deep metallic euro green. VW just started using a "Bottle Green Metallic" - something of this shade would look sharp on the Mustang:

This color follows the tradition of S550 colors sucking hard compared to the previous generation.

Triple Yellow sucks compared to Screamin' Yellow
Magnetic sucks compared to Gun Metal Grey
Deep Impact Blue and Kona Blue suck compared to Sonic Blue
Oxford White sucks compared to Competition White
Competition Orange sucks compared to Grabber Orange

and yes this Spinel Green although I don't dislike it cannot stand in the shadow of Gotta Have It Green.

If mr Hackett is looking to cut costs the first thing he should do is fire the person responsible for the S550 color palette.
