Dark Highland Green for 2019 model year

Hi All

Not sure if this topic has been covered before but im wondering if DHG paint on the 2019 model year mustang will offer this color as an option on regular mustang models and not just exclusive for the bullitt ?

DHG has been listed as a color option for 2019 model year along with Velocity blue and need for green as the new colors that will be available.

Im in the process of buying my first mustang GT fastback and my first choice is DHG in Auto now that guards is no longer available and need for green is abit to light for me.

I don't believe so, it has (and should) always be exclusive to the Bullitt. You can always get your car painted or wrapped after purchase if you just want the color though.

It is entirely feasible, but I doubt it will happen.



That is part of the lure of owning a bullitt & also as a fan. Is knowing seeing that color off in the far distance on another highway ramp... it just stood out from all the other colors.

And you knew what it was, instinctively. I spy..

It WAS NOT, and shouldn't be exclusive to Bullitt special edition, in my opinion. It only became exclusive when Ford realized they could build and up charge a "special edition" in 2001. Up until then, it or a similar color was available from time to time. I would love to have a Dark Green Mustang, but do not like the way Ford configured the Bullitt. Just sayin'

Well 2001 was the first special edition of it so yeah...Doesn't make sense to have a limited edition based on a color/associated theme and then go ahead and make the color available to everyone immediately. Kona was limited to the anniversary package and 3 years later was an option again.

Ford works through colors all the time, that's why the S550 has had so many blues (Kona, Deep Impact, Lightning, Velocity). We're getting Need for Green too so could be time for a few greens to work through the system again.
