2018 Bullitt Mustang (and Features) Confirmed in Window Sticker

If it turns out to be 1,968 cars and someone wants one, figure out the dealers near you that got 2015 LEs and ask if they sold or asked a markup on those. I already discussed this with my dealer and they said they never did mark up the 15 LEs. Not all dealers did. Even if it’s that limited there’s hope of getting one at MSRP or better if you’re willing to go out of state for a deal and do a little digging.

I think Ford wanted to Sneek the 500 in like they did the GT.

On the Bullitt, they left too many Clues.

I think this will be the last Bullitt. 50 years and the last of the Movie’s Fans won’t be around much longer. The Mustang will evolve too much in the next Generation to be relatable to the ‘60s crowd.

UNLESS they remake the Movie with the S550 or S650 (and Daniel Craig?)

I've been waiting for them to remake the film, but instead of just a straight redo scene-for-scene, they should add a second chase that's brand new with new choreography. Make a new classic to add to the old classic.

My dealer has 5 regular GT350's at $10k over, 2 of which are 2017's. The salesman didn't like it when I told him people are selling used ones for $50k. How sweet would've it have been to walk into any dealer and order a GT350 like any other Mustang?

True, I spoke with a salesman yesterday that had 4 on the lot. I was interested in one of them but not the 20K mark up (which was ridiculous). I responded as such and mentioned that other dealerships in the area were dealing down on the ADM in a big way.

He texted me later that they would negate the ADM and only charge me the transportation fee of $850. $60,850 w/o tax lic & doc fees. Roughly 67K out the door.

Not bad but I think I'm going to stay in my GT.

Unless you found someone who was willing to pay what your car is worth after all the time and money you've put into it I think that's a tough hit to take on a trade Todd. Plus the 350 doesn't come in Guard (at least that's how I make myself feel better for not being able to afford one. Need to hit a damn lotto ticket).

Your absolutely right [MENTION=24889]Labradog[/MENTION]. The sales guy saw my ride and then he was like "OK, I see your hesitance on pulling the trigger."

My wife was pretty cool about it but we both have other goals that we'd like to achieve so I/we felt it was in our best interests to leave it alone.

I understand now how it can make ‘sense’ for Ford to only make a limited number of Bullitts (especially for cautious, penny-pinching Hackett).

The Bullitt program was probably already approved with parts ordered before Hackett came in. Well let's hope so anyway.

For those that are not aware, Ford has to negotiate with Warner Brothers and the McQueen family for licenses to use the BULLITT name. Part of the reason they went into 2009 production is that they had purchased 7700 licenses and didn't want to waste them. Any new car goes through the same process and that is one of the main factors for setting production numbers on these cars.
