I think I just found your SCCM. Upon further investigation, it appears as though the SCCM is integrated into the "steering column housing".

This one states heated steering wheel and automatic.

According to the C226A Connector Face, there is no difference between 15-18 and no difference for heated steering wheel so this, the wheel, and a programming change in sync 3 should be all that you need to have a functioning heated wheel.
At least that means you don’t need to get a new wheel as well if you just want the dash for people in southern states

I ordered this part, hopefully this works. I also ordered a steering wheel JR3Z-3600-MA Hopefully that is the right one or at least the heated one as I ordered all the other stuff for that install as well. Will keep everyone updated as I get the parts in to try. I also will check the wiring and post pics if needed. I also have a GT350 steering wheel that is nice in winter as it is not cold to the touch.

GJ so far guys. I'm mostly interested in the 400a cluster but perhaps I change my mind when you guys manage to properly finish the swap

So can anyone confirm that this gauge cluster is direct bolt on for the 2018 Mustang with 301a package? Still deciding on witch one I'm going to be ordering, I would prefer the base GT if I knew for certain that I could replace the classic gauges with these.

If we are this close to getting it working in a 15-17 generation car then it will most certainly work in a 2018. You likely will not run into issues with the SCCM like have been encountered here and likely will not need to modify the dash. Personally I would save my money and go with the 301a.

I'm going to throw a rock at the '18 301A to Digicluster swap. :( The '18 6-Speed 301A that I sat in did not have the pony button. I'm not going to lie I skimmed the last 3-4 pages to catch back up, if this has been discussed.. my apologies. I'm a little confused on if the Pony (My Mode?) button is strictly a control key, or if it needs to be coded in on the SCCM. The 301A obviously has Sync3, Drive Modes and no Pony Button. Would that screw anything?

I have a Manual 301A scheduled to be delivered on 1/22. I'm going to monitor yous dudes very closely, if you're thinking this could be a direct (or close) swap still I am ALL IN and will happily purchase/install/troubleshoot anything you all need. Thank you VERY MUCH for what you guys have done so far, please keep up the good work!

Attached is a 6-Speed 301A.

The lower button cluster where the pony button would need to be replaced with the pony button cluster. Other then that there might be an As Built data change required but your 18 SCCM will most likely accept the data change unlike the 15-17 modules due to updated firmware.

Awesome work, waiting on someone to do it with a GT350 before I swap it.

I have a 16 with track pack with base stereo. Everything should link up I’d guess.

Curious if trans, axle, oil temp etc will all still show up.

Do you think this could be done with Sync2?
