I know this is an old video - and my apologies if it's been posted but I found it interesting that he very briefly mentioned that he ripped the splitter off of his Mustang... I can only assume he's talking about his 2015 R.

Yes. I'm trying to remember a video posted awhile back that showed how bad it was ripped off. I'll try and find it.

He blatantly said 350R.

24:25 is where I heard it. Maybe missed it somewhere else but he didn't say GT anything at that time.

He stated on his show or some other interview that he "ripped it off" to make it more drive able for him. Same reason he swapped the seats.

He says it more clear around the 11:20 mark when he talks about his driveway and the GT's low front.

Ouch. I complain about how flat Florida is - but I never even scrape my R splitter (did once when I should have known better).

Same thing happened to Richard Rawlings GT350R on the last episode of Fast N Loud. Kurt Busch was driving it on the track and they heard a loud crack.

It looks like the force is pushing the spoiler down and its not staying up like it should, like its made out of to weak material for the force on it.

It just needs the whack-a-mole treatment and checked to make sure the 4 fasteners from the bottom are installed. Mine was similar due to the missing fasteners and 141 mph. Since having the fasteners installed and whacking the shit out of it with a dead blow hammer, 166 mph did not move it at all. Still a perfect fit.

Yeah there’s a lot of force on it, but if the dealership installed all the hardware correctly it won’t come off. They can’t follow a 5 minute instructional video
